Timing results will be provided by age categories. The age categories are as follows: U14, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-69; 70+
All finishers will receive a Finisher Medal. Trophies will also be presented to 1st , 2nd and 3rd placing in each gender category overall.
No scooters or race wheelchairs are to be used in the event due to the nature of the course. Running with dogs is also prohibited. For clarification on this please contact the Race Director via email at [email protected].
Drink stations will be positioned at 2.5km – 3km intervals and will carry water and Fixx Nutrition Fuel X sports drink. Aid stations will be self serve throughout the run course. Tables will be set up and clearly marked and communicated (via aid station volunteers) as to what each table offers. Please help yourself and place waste in the bins provided.
We’ll have drinks on ice and snacks for you at the finish line in our recovery marquee.
Participants can either opt to have their race bib posted to ahead of the event (for a fee of $10) or alternatively collect their race bib from the venue on event weekend.
Venue Collection:
Participants will be able to collect their race bib from the Registration Marquee, located within the Event Precinct at Muriel Henchman Park, Seaworld Drive. Opening times for the registration marquee can be found below:
Saturday 17th May: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Sunday 18th May: 5:15am – 7:30am
At point of entry you can opt to have your race bib posted to you for a fee of $10.
The race bib postage service is available until midnight 4 April 2025. Participants who enter after this date will need to collect their race bib at event registration. You can add race bib postage to your existing entry via the store here.
Starting and finishing at Muriel Henchman Park, participants will first enjoy the closed roads and ocean views of Main Beach Spit for the first 4km. After this the course enters the serene, leafy trails of the Federation Walk Coastal Reserve, where the next 5km will take participants through undulating, hard-packed paths amidst stunning natural beauty.
After soaking in the scenery, participants will rejoin Seaworld Drive for the final 1.5km, completing the final section of course on the road.
With on-course entertainment, well-stocked drink stations, and sweeping ocean views throughout, this 10km run celebrates the breathtaking coastal beauty of Main Beach Spit.
